New project BOX coming out

[September '12]
In September we will bring out the new performance/installation Box, in collaboration with performer Katerina Dietzova and visual artist Vladimir Slavov

Box is a location project which confronts us with the unpredictability of our perception. In this dance duo the performers bring the audience to a journey beyond the borders of gravity, reaching unexpected dimensions.

Box is a coproduction between Stichting Broccoli and ADM Amsterdam.

The first pilot will be presented during TIJD Festival at ADM in Amsterdam:

[ September/November '12]
After a first tour last season we are performing this autumn again Always Known Never Met in several European cities. The work is an intense dialogue between  actor David Eeles and dancer Katerina Dietzova inspired by the work of writer Oriana Fallaci.

Coming fall I will continue to work inside the company Sienidanza of Virgiio Sieni, performing De Anima, but also collaborating for new projects of the Accademia sul Gesto for Festival Oltrarno (29-11/2-12) and setting up new activities for the future.

Trollenjong, the theatre project for young audience (4+) directed by Sanne Zweije and produced by Het Filiaal, for which I worked last season as chorographer and movement coach, will be presented again during the Utrecht Uitfeest.

For the occasion I will give workshops after the two performances for the youngest and older audience: at 14.15 and 16.15

In occasion of the Gaudeamus Muziekweek  I will be part of the performance Arthur, a dance-music-visual meeting in improvisation, where the instant happening on the stage materializes on three levels – by sound, movement and drawn line.
This project was created in collaboration between dancers Kateřina Dietzová & Manuela Tessi, graphic designers Deimion van der Sloot & Hidde Meulenbeek and musicians George Cremaschi, Petr Vrba.

I will be teaching at Codarts in the first week of September improvisation and technique classes to the 3^rd year students of the dance and teacher departments.

[ April/July '12]
Last spring I started my collaboration with the in Florence based dance company Sienidanza directed by  Virgilio Sieni.
Beside performing his last work De Anima, I have been part of the curating  team for several projects inside the activities of the Accademia sul Gesto, like the Cenacoli Fiorentini.

Through the winter I worked with the two Dutch dance academies AHK, Modern Dance Departement in Amsterdam and Codarts in Rotterdam. The result was to be seen in the programs Bold in Motion of the AHK and Talents on The Move of Codarts, where I created Con-Forme, for the second year of the MTD in Amsterdam and Quintet # 1: The Hug, for the 3^rd year of Codarts. The pieces where presentedin june june in several city theatres in The Netherlands, and during the It’s Festival in Amsterdam.

For this occasion I set up a program with the students of Codarts, wherein after visiting the theatre I will offer  a workshop on the subjects raised in the performance.
 

[February '12] 
I was invited as a guest choreographer at Codarts to work on a new short piece named Quintet # 1: The Hug. The project involves students of the 3rd year of the dansacademy. 

The work will be part of the program Talent On The Move, with coreographies of Jiri Kylian, Bill T Jones, Club Guy & Roni among others. To visit in different theatres from February till April 2012.

[January '12]
I worked as chorographer and movement coach with theatre director and actor Sanne Zweije on  the project for young audience Trollenjong, at the theatre company Het Filiaal. Trollenjong is a poetic performance about being different and believing in yourself, with actors Lard Adrian  and Klavertje Patijn. 15th and 16th of February we had the first presentations in Utrecht, in April the work was touring in Dutch primary schools.
