Bava
Bava is a duet between dancer and puppet where the idea of the monster which hides itself in all of us is a starting point. The piece investigates the more hidden aspects of the personality of the individual, like eroticism, desire, aggression and exhibitionism. By using a puppet, it is possible to release oneself from a normal role and bring latent personality traits to the surface without having to carry the weight of responsibility for them.
